What it’s good for
Midjourney makes striking, artistic images. It’s great for mood boards, concept art and illustrations where the look matters more than exact details.
Lots of people pick it for its style alone.
Who it’s for
Artists, designers and anyone who wants images with a strong, polished look.
Watch out for
- There’s no free plan. You pay from day one, starting at $10/mo.
- On the cheaper plans your images are public on Midjourney’s site. Private mode starts on the Pro plan.
- Text inside images can still come out wrong. Ideogram is better for that.
How it compares

Look through the public images on their site first to see if you like the style. Then try Basic for one month and cancel if it’s not for you.
