What it’s good for
You describe the site or app you want and Lovable builds it. Then you keep chatting to change things. It can host the app for you too.
Each message uses credits, and bigger changes use more. I’d start on the free plan and see how far it gets you before paying.
Who it’s for
People with an idea for a simple site or app who don’t code. It’s also handy for coders who want a quick first version to show someone.
Watch out for
- Before real people use your app, check what data it collects and who can see it. Anything with logins or payments needs extra care.
- Big changes in one message can use a lot of credits. Small, clear requests work better.
- Pro is $25/mo, so it’s worth knowing how many credits a normal week takes before you pay.
How it compares
If you just need a simple one-page site, Gamma might be enough. If you write code yourself, Cursor or GitHub Copilot give you more control.
Before you pay
Start with something small, like a landing page, on the free plan (5 credits a day, up to 30 a month). That shows you quickly whether it fits.
How I wrote this: plan and price details come from the official pricing page (checked Oct 2026). The rest is my own take from reading the official pages, not a lab test. How I review
